The Legacy of a Legend
Synopsis
When legends die, they don't always exit this world without leaving others behind. Step back in time, back to a time where Rome and a man called Spartacus go head to head for power, status and justice. But when Spartacus loses his life, others pick up right where he left off almost two decades later!
Excerpt:
Goran invited General Gaius to sit before a meal and some needed refreshment and spoke again. “What kind of a man would I be if I am weakened by my enemy? What kind of a man would I be if I didn’t stand for justice or righteousness like my Queen does?” The room grew silent, emulating on those words.
General Gaius gazed into the eyes of the King and spoke. “A King or Emperor stands for honor, courage and strength. You must be all those things to ensure the survival of your people.”
The King listened to the words carefully, and tapped the General gently on the shoulder as he raised his glass to cheer on his words. “To our partnership then!” and the glasses raised made a loud sound and the men smiled from ear to ear. No more words were to be had, as everything was now understood.
Arria played the King like an ancient harp, she played on his emotions so bravely and efficiently that he agreed to free her army, aid with their mission, and at no cost to them, but for the pretend love Arria had for the King. The King was naive and hadn’t caught on. He remained true to his word and wife when he said she may have all she desired. She desired to have her army free and go up against Rome for her sister. It was her wedding gift and Arria would never forget how kind King Goran had been to her. The plan turned out better than they thought, in different ways and General Gaius was happy to finally see Arria face to face again after ten days had come and gone.
“You did it Arria! I’m sorry it had to go this far,” said General Gaius and Arria pushed General Gaius into a corner behind a tent and whispered.
“I did what I had to, but he’ll never let me go. I don’t plan on being his wife forever, this is not in the plans.”

"What an intriguing read. As far as woman warriors goes, the main character of this story, Arria, rocks"

"Amazing plot! The storyline and characters were both very well developed. The best part of this book is Arria, the main character of the book, and her relationship with General Alarsis. Very fun read and I would recommend this to anyone for a good fantasy novel to read!"
